Judy is the Founder and Managing Director of Crowd Media HQ –Melbourne based social media agency giving organisations a strategic edge through unique digital media solutions. Crowd Media HQ has successfully executed powerful social media campaigns for big corporations, delivering effective, end-to-end social media solutions, from strategy development and community management to creative marketing campaigns and beyond. Crowd Media HQ works in conjunction with specialist advertising agency, Vahan Advertising Group, to assist clients on all areas of brand awareness, customer retention and lead generation, using a multitude of digital media platforms.
Judy has keen interest in the way businesses interact, communicate and share information with consumers. Through her work with corporate firms, she developed an understanding of the ability of media to influence people’s purchasing decisions. With the impending growth of social media, Judy recognised a new wave of marketing innovation and embarked on extended project looking at aggregation and visualisation of data between brands and consumers.
Judy brings a depth of knowledge within the digital sector. She has on numerous occasions, presented to local governments, councils, chamber of commerce events, private businesses and SME groups to share her views on the changing digital landscape. She has also appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Brisbane Times, Business Review Australia and contributed to a number of influential blogs and forums to educate Australian SMEs on the current trends within the digital landscape. In October 2013 she co-authored “ The Express Guid to Social Media Marketing” a book featuring contributions from social media experts around the world. In 2014 she asked to share her business journey in “Australian Entrepreneurs” and in early 2015 she is in the finals stages of launching her thrid book “Social Media Marketing intelligence” .
In 2014 she co-founded Emerge Investments, a firm which invests capital, marketing, business and IT intelligence for start-ups and infancy stage businesses.
Judy holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, Bachelor of Science and Masters in Accounting/Business.
Judy is a contributing author to the books, The Experts Guide to Social Media Marketing and Australian Entrepreneurs.
Both these books have helped me in numerous ways. From building my personal brand and the ability to show thought leadership in the area of digital media marketing to opening up new opportunities to present and run workshops/ seminars. This then snowballed into couple of media appearances which contributed significant growth to the business- brand awareness, lead generation and sales.
