Great article thanks Audrey. Many small business owners have a blurred line between their personal and business finances, and using credit cards can be a real trap. Used correctly, they can be a helpful cash-flow tool, but not always. Thanks for pointing out those tricky places to look in the Terms and Conditions.

Yes I agree. It’s not about doing it all yourself. It should be about proactively managing your SMSF with the help of quality advisors. This is wonderful! I too just started a Buy Nothing year. And like you, I will only buy food and absolutely necessary toiletries. I am feeling a little sickened by all the consuming and resulting garbage and plastic in the seas and land. I have the feeling that this won’t be that hard. In a lot of ways, it will make us more resourceful and creative. I am rooting for you!

Great article ! Tons of valuable information here. Depending on which route you want to take – some are obviously better than others. In my opinion you want to build a business that’s long-term, sustainable, and actually gives you the freedom you want! (that’s why we ALL want more money, right?)

Probably the most effective way to do this is affiliate marketing. There’s tons of great free training out there, and you can literally turn your passion into a paycheck – if you’re willing to work for it that is.

One of the best affiliates I know of is only 21 years old, and although he’s drifting towards the coaching side of things – he’s got some great stuff to really get your affiliate business kickstarted….
